Apart from this famous painting, you will also find Vermeer’s View of Delft, Fabritius’ Goldfinch and the second largest collection of Rembrandts in the Netherlands, including The Anatomy Lesson of Dr Nicolaes Tulp and the artist’s last self-portrait. And all that in the atmosphere of a 17th-century city palace.

- Free admission for one guide per 15 people;
- Special audio tour for €2.50 per person;
- Use of your own guides is possible;
- Various payment options, including payment by voucher or invoice.

Practical information
Audio tour
For tour operators, we also offer a simple audio tour. This one-hour tour highlights the best bits of our awesome collection. The audio tour costs €2.50 per person and is available in Dutch, English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, Chinese (Mandarin) and Japanese.
Would you like to reserve the audio tour? Please notify us at least two weeks prior to your visit via [email protected]. We have a two-business-day cancellation and change period.
Mauritshuis app
The Mauritshuis app is an alternative to the audio tour. This application offers various tours of the museum, or you can simply decide for yourself what you’d like to discover about each painting.
The Mauritshuis app can be downloaded free of charge from the App Store and Google Play. The app is available in Dutch and English. A tour highlighting the collection is also available in German, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, Chinese (Mandarin) and Japanese.
Guided Tours
The masterpieces come even more to life with a guided tour by our experienced guides. The cost for this is €100 for a group of up to 15 people. Would you prefer to bring your own guide? This is also possible with a group of up to 15 people per guide.
We appreciate the use of a whisper system. If you do not have a whisper system, there is an option to borrow one from the Mauritshuis.

Exclusive Packages
An exclusive visit offers a unique way to experience the Mauritshuis collection. Reserve the entire museum for a large or small group. Our team will ensure an unforgettable, tailor-made experience!
