Celebrate spring at the Mauritshuis and bring your family along to the museum during the holidays. Once again there is lots to do! Go on a really fun guided family tour through the On Horseback! exhibition with your mum, dad, grandma and grandpa. Set off on your own with the word search puzzle In the Saddle! Solve the puzzle and you will be rewarded with a surprise to take home with you. Or would you like to make your own work of art, rather than just looking? Then sign up for the Make Your Own Museum Horse workshop.

Make Your Own Museum Horse workshop (for children aged 6 years and over)
During this workshop, you get to paint your own plaster horse. First, for inspiration, you will join a museum teacher on a tour of the paintings in the exhibition. Which horse do you like best? Then it is time to get to work. Paint your horse sculpture, put it on a base and you have your own museum horse. Of course, the horse is yours to take home with you!
