Address and directions

At the most beautiful location in The Hague, right in the historical centre, next to the Binnenhof, the monumental Mauritshuis houses its first-rate collection of Dutch and Flemish paintings of the Golden Age.

Please note: due to the NN CPC Run The Hague (the half marathon of The Hague) on 8 March the Mauritshuis can be difficult to reach by car. We advise travelling to The Hague by public transport on 8 March.

By car, take the A4 (Amsterdam – Delft), the A12 (Arnhem/Utrecht – Den Haag) or the N44 (Nieuw Vennep – Den Haag). Follow the directions for Centrum and then the signs to the Mauritshuis. Plan your route
