Music and art are universal. It doesn’t matter what language you speak; music and beautiful works of art make it possible to communicate. And the online concert series Miniatures inspired by Music and Visual Arts, an initiative of violinist Tosca Opdam in collaboration with Stichting Toscata, proves just that! Each is an inspiring online mini concert that appeals to a wide audience. For the Miniatures, Opdam and other artists have taken inspiration from the collection at the Mauritshuis and other museums.
The fourth edition is dedicated to our 200th birthday! The online concert series Miniatures inspired by Music and Visual Arts takes its inspiration from masterpieces in our museum.
