This gilded table with caryatids, flower garlands and volutes is a real showpiece. It came from Oranienstein Castle in Germany, which was redecorated by Henriëtte Amalia van Anhalt-Dessau, at the beginning of the eighteenth century. She engaged the French-Dutch designer Daniël Marot to carry out the redecoration. His designs were in complete accordance with the French-oriented taste of the European nobility.

In the middle of the tabletop, you can see the monogram of Henriëtte Amalia van Anhalt-Dessau: two intertwined A’s.
