Nestled in the heart of the historic centre, in The Hague’s most stunning location, is the Mauritshuis. This magnificent museum offers 6 unique rooms that you can hire for your corporate events. From intimate groups to large gatherings of up to 350 guests. Why not combine your event with a visit to our collection of 17th-century masterpieces.

Please note that we will be closed from 24 August to 20 September 2026 due to renovations. Unfortunately, we will not be able to host any business events during this period.

Good to know: book in advance

If you're interested in hosting an event at the Mauritshuis, we kindly advise you to book it at least three weeks in advance. This gives us enough time to organise an unforgettable experience.

Exclusive Dinners

Imagine yourself as the owner of a 17th century city palace during a delightful dinner amongst the works of art in the impressive Golden Room. The museum will remain open exclusively for your guests throughout the evening. You can also dine in the very first museum in the Netherlands: the intimate Prince William V Gallery. You will not be disappointed with this location, where the works of art hang from plinth to ceiling, as was customary at the time! Would you prefer a more modern ambiance? If so, the Randstad Room and Nassau Room are also at your disposal. These rooms have a beautiful view over the historical Binnenhof and the monumental Mauritshuis.

Online and hybrid events

Looking for a venue to host an online or hybrid event like a talk show or webinar to reach your target audience online, too? The Mauritshuis is the ideal location. Working with our media partner Objektiv productions, we can stage your high-end talk show or webinar in our museum, situated in The Hague’s Binnenhof. 

To give you and your guests a truly memorable experience, combine your online or hybrid event with a visit to our museum and/or a delicious lunch in our brasserie or Sociëteit de Witte.

Unique location and support from A to Z 

In no time at all, we can transform our Nassau Room into a professional studio equipped with all the facilities you need to organise and broadcast a talk show or webinar (live). Objektiv productions, our media partner, will provide seamless support from A to Z. Together we’ll deliver a successful production. Some of your audience can be present in the studio or follow the show online. And you can use our professional online platform to optimise online interaction. Engage your online audience with features such as chat, breakout rooms, quizzes and recordings. 

Always tailor-made 

We always deliver tailor-made solutions. After all, every talk show and webinar calls for different things. How many participants will be in the studio? Do you have clips you want to launch, and can we help you produce them? Will you have guests or speakers calling in to participate in the broadcast? Would you like to use animated title bars and bumpers? Are you planning on using your own platform, or is that something we can help you with? What kind of interaction do you want during the broadcast? Before taking the next step, we’ll talk through all these elements with you in detail. The culinary interpretation of your event is in the capable hands of the Nieuwe or Littéraire Sociëteit de Witte. De Witte's excellent cuisine offers you the quality you can expect from us in the Mauritshuis for your dinner, lunch, cocktail or other occasion. Download the brochure.

Are you with a small group? Then you can also make a selection from the range of culinary delights offered by De Brasserie. The menu covers both cold and warm dishes.

You can make free use of the available technical facilities, such as sound, beamer, laptop, screens and free WiFi connection during your meeting or event. If you need more advanced equipment, we would be happy to put you in touch with our regular partners.

Entertainment & Decoration

A special meeting and event location demands matching decoration for your meeting. From live music (such as classical, jazz and more) provided by the conservatory in The Hague to the most spectacular floral arrangements and friendly reception service for your guests and more. We would be happy to think along with you about an unforgettable tailor-made business event.

Transport & Traffic

The Mauritshuis is situated on the Plein in The Hague, right in the city centre. The public car park, Pleingarage, is right outside the door, and has its own Mauritshuis exit. You can reach us easily by car, and public transport. That’s why the Mauritshuis is the ideal location for all your events. We have discount tickets for the car park.


In 2022, our neighbours embarked on renovations! Over the next few years, the Binnenhof will be refurbished. This might impact access via the Binnenhof and also mean extra construction vehicles in front of the building.
