The Mauritshuis and Nationale-Nederlanden are bringing art into the streets! In the streets of The Hague, six street artists have created impressive murals, each based on a masterpiece from the Mauritshuis. Put on your running shoes and follow the 5, 10, or 15 km route past the murals.

Starting February 25, you can see a selection of 60 new Girls in the foyer of the Mauritshuis, displayed in a 3D-printed frame that’s an exact replica of the original.

Five phenomenal street artists let themselves be inspired by the paintings from our collection and turn them into life-size murals. They paint them on various walls in The Hague. Day and night for all to see.

The Mauritshuis is the home of the finest paintings from the time of Rembrandt and Vermeer.
