Museum visit for primary education

Maurits Muis Kinderworkshop Schilderijen Bekijken In Mauritshuis Den Haag 1200

“Look what I made today!” and “Do you know who the girl with a pearl earring is? I do!" Those are typical words of so many children when they come home from our art classes. Visual arts are essential for the development of primary school children.

That’s why the Mauritshuis has set up a range of fun and educational teaching programs for primary education. We make children enthusiastic about art: viewing art, discovering special stories and, of course, making art themselves! The following is a list of all our options:

Tip: We also create tailor-made programs and we’re happy to think along with you about the content of our art weeks.
