Eijffinger x Mauritshuis

Bring the beauty of the Mauritshuis into your home

The paintings in the Mauritshuis are true masterpieces, and now you can enjoy them at home as well. In collaboration with the Mauritshuis, Eijffinger has created an exclusive wallpaper collection inspired by both famous and lesser-known works from the museum’s collection.

Naturally, iconic paintings such as Girl with a Pearl Earring by Vermeer and The Goldfinch by Fabritius are included. The collection also features surprising and atmospheric designs inspired by, for example, Hans Holbein’s Portrait of Jane Seymour and the impressive 17th-century forest landscapes of Gerard David.

This special collection is a highlight of Eijffinger’s anniversary year, celebrating 150 years in 2025. Through this collaboration, we bring the beauty of these masterpieces not only to museum visitors but also to anyone who wants to enrich their interior with art.

Together, we make art accessible - for every wall, in every home.

"Collaboration like a warm bath"

“For us, true art feels like a warm bath. And that’s exactly what this collaboration was! We were given complete freedom to study the paintings up close and then give them our own creative twist.

The result speaks for itself: a collection called Magnifique, which is unmistakably Eijffinger and brings 17th-century Dutch painting into 21st-century interiors. Or, as we put it in the wallpaper book: For those who don’t see classic as the past, but as a source of timeless beauty and inspiration.”
