If you wish to request an object from our collection for a temporary exhibition, we kindly ask that you contact us first, via [email protected]. Paintings from the bequest of former Director Abraham Bredius (1946) can’t leave the museum due to provisions in the will. Furthermore, the pastels in the collection are considered too fragile to travel.
A loan request should be sent at least twelve months before the opening of your exhibition to Martine Gosselink, Director of the Mauritshuis, P.O. Box 536, 2501 CM, Den Haag.
We kindly ask you to include the following information in your loan request:
- Description and exact dates of your exhibition;
- Adress and contact details;
- Descriptions of the requested object(s) and inventory number(s);
- Recent Facilities Report
