Are you joining us on the Grand Tour? Right now, we’re spotlighting a magnificent art collection from three country houses of the Treasure Houses of England. These are souvenirs brought back from the Grand Tour. On view until 4 January 2026.
In 2026, the Mauritshuis is staging three amazing exhibitions: BIRDS Curated by The Goldfinch & Simon Schama (12 February – 7 June), a colourful journey through the worldwide fascination with birds, inspired by Fabritius’ famous Goldfinch; Stephan Vanfleteren (23 April – 24 August), in which the photographer uses dramatic images to merge the past and our present; and Thyssen-Bornemisza ❤️ Mauritshuis (15 October 2026 – 17 January 2027), featuring 25 masterpieces from Madrid – from Van Eyck to El Greco – that focus on people and their stories.
